At SANAUI, every fabric has a history before it becomes a piece. We work exclusively with deadstock materials — unused premium fabric stocks sourced from Italian and Mediterranean manufacturers.
Rarity as Value
A deadstock fabric exists in finite quantity. Once exhausted, it is gone. Each SANAUI piece is therefore, by nature, a limited edition. You are not simply buying a garment — you are acquiring something that exists only once in this form.
An Ethical and Aesthetic Choice
Choosing deadstock means refusing overproduction. It means giving a second life to materials already made, and reducing our footprint. These fabrics are often of exceptional quality — originally selected for luxury houses and left unused.
What This Means in Practice
When a SANAUI piece sells out, it does not return. This is a genuine promise of rarity — not a marketing device, but a direct consequence of how we choose to make.
